No End in Sight

It is now 1:36 A.M. Tell me, what the hell am I still doing in the office? Oh yeah, dying a slow, horrible death...

Baby's First Shoes

I finally finished these little baby shoes - the pattern is here. These were originally meant for a friend's baby girl, but then I misplaced them somewhere before I could sew on the buttons, and then I finally found them this weekend, and sewed on the buttons...but THEN, I realized that now they will be too small for my friend's baby. So now, they will be future baby's first shoes. The picture isn't that great, so the color is off. They are pink/purple - knit in Koigu. I feel pretty strongly about not dressing baby girls in all pink and frilly things, but these should be ok. They are pictured in hubbie's hand. So tiny - I hope they fit.

It's a...

Baby girl! Everything seems to be healthy and normal from the ultrasound, except the baby kept clenching its little fist and punching my belly. Making trouble already...

$50K on Hair

Really? Are you serious, Jennifer? But, I suppose her hair does look super awesome. People gave poor John Edwards a hard time about his $400 haircut...that's just a drop in the bucket, apparently.

Wicked Good

We went to see Wicked last night at the Orpheum Theater. It was great - we had really good seats in the orchestra section close to the stage. The costumes and set were amazing and the lead actresses who played Glinda and Elphaba were outstanding singers.

The only thing was that I did not find the actual songs catchy at all, with maybe the one exception of "Defying Gravity." I like walking out of musicals being able to hum the score, feeling like I might want to buy the soundtrack. Not sure on this one, though. Still, overall, I give the whole experience an A-.
